I Just Can't Do It All...

Google reader is stressing me out. I have a gazilion blogs to catch up on!
Apparently my reader stops counting at 1000 and just adds a plus sign.

Google Reader

I wonder if eventually it will say 2000+.
Anyone know if Google Reader just gives up at 1000?
Anyone know how to add in an extra 7 hours of each day so I can get caught up?

I usually first try to go visit the blogs of the people who comment. And when I get a minute during the day, I check out my RSS feeds, but even those are far behind. And then when I can sit down for about 30 minutes, I move on to my Google Reader. And clearly, I have neglected it.

Just once a week, zero out your entire reader and start over. Let some of your blogs build up to 3 or 4 posts before you visit. It sucks but that's life. Some people will get skipped every once in a while.

Marked all as read and start over fresh. Sometimes you just have to let go.

I agree. Sometimes it is easier to just start fresh. Hang in there. I know about needing more hours!

Chances are we (bloggers) haven't said anything life changing anway....just delete them and start anew! No one will know!

Yeah, just mark 'em read. I don't use google reader for that very reason. I don't like having my failures rubbed in my face.

I know what you mean. I have so many blogs I like to read, but I usually just end up reading those that have commented on my blog and by the time I finish with those I'm out of time. I agree with every one else. Just zero it out every so often and leave it at that.

I have commented; therefore you must visit (I kid!)

I'm also backlogged.

I know what everyone else is saying... I agree. It is the reason I really like the blogs that have subscription option, even if it fills up my email (I have one dedicated to my blog anyway).
Then I just read the ones that come visit me first, and if I have time, I'll go to the other ones I have time for.
BTW, if anyone does figure out a way to add 7 hours to a day, PLEASE fill me in, too. :-)

Sweetie, give yourself a break! Sometimes you just can't get to everyone. It's okay. Remember it's supposed to be fun, not another job.

It just stops at 1000. I have been over that mark many times! But, I've deleted a lot and reorganized certain blogs into folders I don't feel bad marking as read. A lot of blogs, I do want to read all of their posts if I get behind, so I just get to them when I can :) I doubt anyone would be offended if you don't comment, or don't comment right away!
